Brought back by a legendary wizard, he suddenly retakes his throne, reestablishes himself in complete control, and sets out to conquer all of the nations on his continent. Leonard elevates a former pizza delivery boy to general of his army and finds his most loyal and resourceful supporter. When contact is made with another continent, the world is thrown into a conflict that brings a holocaust that threatens to destroy an entire civilization. It is not until the end of this conflict and contact is made with a third civilization, that the religious writings of the past come into perspective to show the conquerors their purpose. The Time Of Kings has come and a new world awaits beyond the end of the old world. Old friends and old enemies face the same future. Diehl was born in Brewster, WA in 1961, the same year that his father began teaching. In 1966 Diehl moved with his family to Aberdeen, WA where his father finished out his 32 year teaching career. Diehl attended Hoquiam Schools and obtained an Associate of Arts Degree in anthropology at Grays Harbor Community College. Time Of Kings is Diehl’s first novel but he is presently completing a historical fiction that he has been researching for several years.
